Business
Tips:
TRACTION (EOS – Entrepreneurial Operating
System)
Our
management is implementing a new system called “Traction”. It will provide
direction over the next year through a wonderful system. We look forward to sharing
it with you here. We hope you will take the journey with us.
~Expansion and Growth~
We will grow, but we will not forget
where we come from. We will also grow slow so that everyone is comfortable with
the steps. We will take everyone that wants to go with us. The journey of
building a great business is not about the destination at all. Of course, you
want it to be highly profitable and generate wealth for yourself and others.
Yet, along the way, you need to enjoy the lives that you will touch. You need
to get excited about the value you will create for customers, enjoy the pure
pleasure of playing the game of business, and be able to take pride in the
self-perpetuating system you have built. Once you have created a business that
does not require you to crank every single gear—an entity all its own—you will
have more freedom for yourself. The journey should be enjoyable. If you are
racing to get to the end of the journey, you will be sorely disappointed. By
embracing this journey-focused approach, you are going against the grain of
what most believe is right. As a result, it is hard to understand the truth. As
Tal Ben-Shahar, PhD, states in his book Happier: Learn the Secrets to Daily Joy
and Lasting Fulfillment, “Society rewards results, not processes; arrivals, not
journeys.” The irony is that if you are able to fight society’s pull, you will
then enjoy all of the journey’s rewards.

Tips:
~ Dream Manager~
This has been a practice of mine for a really long time. It
started with a “100 list”. Someone many years ago had convinced me to start
writing things down that God could give me to enjoy and things I could do to
enjoy His creation. I think I remember getting to about 20 and I started
writing stuff like another pair of black socks…..lol. Many of you are natural
dreamers and some are not, so the task can vary in complexity based on your
tendency.
I highly
encourage the practice though. Take your best friend or spouse out to “date”
your dream. Find a dream manager to help you get it. Touch it, feel it, plan
for it, decide what goal you will need to hit to get it. Take time and frequent
time at developing a working relationship toward the call on your life to a
worthwhile dream. Unashamed and unbiased pursuit of something that is
worthwhile is noble. When you achieve one, don’t stop chasing as it pulls you
forward in a positive direction with momentum to effect change on those around
you due to your commitment.

VIDEOGRAPHY SKILLS
Have you noticed how
social media giants like Facebook and Instagram have been trying to push more
video content on your feeds? You would also know that brands are now routinely
marketing their products and services through YouTube; a lot more than they used
to.
There are a host of
reasons for that, one of which is that video content has been proven to garner
increased user interaction. It is simply more stimulating,
gripping, and entertaining. People enjoy it and want more of it every day.
So, by learning
videography skills like shooting, lighting, and editing, you can ride this
social media wave and help yourself or others generate more video content. Oh,
and there is always the possibility of making good money out of this skill!
If that interests you, then you can check out

Notable quotes: They are
italicized above.
What do you know about
the Mosaic Covenant? Why do we need to know about it? What good does it bring
us?
Mosaic Covenant. This
conditional covenant, found in Deuteronomy 11
and elsewhere, promised the Israelites a blessing for obedience and a curse for
disobedience. Much of the Old Testament chronicles the fulfillment of this
cycle of judgment for sin and later blessing when God's people repented and
returned to God.
