Hard Times

There are many pleading whoas and raging their gnashing teeth in the streets of America. It seems that everyone is either "fed" up or "given" in. As hard times ebb and flow like the waves on the ocean, it is our resolve to prepare for such barreling waves of trouble. Maybe you find yourself under a wave, rolling in what seems like an endless current. You might possibly feel like a Jonah, spit up on the beach in wonderment of how you got where you are. Somehow you have found yourself here, in this place, at this moment. Not hours before or years ahead, but here....NOW.

Hard times can befall us all, but we don't end our journey in hard times. You might say, well this is going to be just another motivational post of getting up and dusting ourselves off. I don't reconcile that fact. Yes we must get up, but it is why we get up that lasts. Of all success that I have seen, no one can boost they did it alone, nor should they. We have all had the helping hand of one now and then. You life isn't made up of countless individual efforts, but a harmony classically played by our creator in a symphony of millions of lives lived. I can only hope to tell you how special you are. I can only hope to tell you how much you mean to others.

Even though you may have fallen on hard times, there is a grace that sustains us all. There is an example that saves our last hopes in time. There is a dormant Jesus that we can't see. There is a sleeping Jesus that awakes in the right time and place to calm the storm and steady our boat. There are repercussions after a storm. It may not be an easy recovery. There may be even harder times, rougher seas. But overall, there is a savior, a God, a Spirit, that tugs at our souls and calls us home as if we had never left. Find rest, comfort, and rejuvenation to face those seas again for one that sacrificed it all so that we might live.

God bless you.

Business Tips : TRACTION (EOS – Entrepreneurial Operating System) Our management is implementing a new system called “Traction”. It will provide direction over the next year through a wonderful system. We look forward to sharing it with you here. We hope you will take the journey with us. ~Telling the Story~ Some time ago, a friend of mine and his wife visited a major Maui tourist attraction called The Road to Hana. It comprised a long and winding road that, over the course of hours, took them through breathtaking scenery, waterfalls, cliffs, mountains, and beaches. At the end, there was nothing but the small town of Hana, with one gas station. When they finally arrived, my friend’s wife was very upset. She said, “We drove all of this way for this?” She missed the point. The Road to Hana is about the journey, not the destination. Don’t make the same mistake with The EOS Process. The journey of building a great business is not about the destination at all. Of course, you...

Business Tips : TRACTION (EOS – Entrepreneurial Operating System) Our management is implementing a new system called “Traction”. It will provide direction over the next year through a wonderful system. We look forward to sharing it with you here. We hope you will take the journey with us. ~Traction~ The vision is clear, the right people are in the right seats, data is managed, you’re solving issues, you have defined your way of doing business and everyone is following it. Creating accountability, discipline and execution is where most weakness reveals itself. Traction is the ability to take a visionaries head out of the clouds and place it into clear action. Many are held back for the fear of creating discomfort, but with each hard step towards systematic success, things become straightforward even with contingencies and the tremendous peace of traction. From no accountability, poor communication, stagnation, chaos you will find just the opposite with traction. Accountability...
