TRACTION (EOS – Entrepreneurial Operating
System)
Our
management is implementing a new system called “Traction”. It will provide
direction over the next year through a wonderful system. We look forward to
sharing it with you here. We hope you will take the journey with us.
~Get it, want it, capacity to do it (GWC)
and People Analyzer~
GWC stands for get it, want it, and
capacity to do it. “Get it” simply means that they truly understand their role,
the culture, the systems, the pace, and how the job comes together. This means
they genuinely like the job. They understand the role, and they want to do it
based on fair compensation and the responsibility. Capacity means having the
time as well as the mental, physical, and emotional capacity to do a job well.
We can determine if someone is a Right
Person for our organization by using a simple tool called The People Analyzer.
In the following example, we’ll use the preceding list of Core Values to show
you how the tool works. Begin by listing the people on your team down the
left-hand column and your Core Values across the top row. Next, rate each
person based on how well they live (or don’t live) by each Core Value. Base
your ratings on personal observations of their behavior. In addition, take into
account feedback from your peers. For each Core Value, you will give each
person one of three ratings—a plus, a plus/minus, or a minus. This is the
definition for each:
•A Plus (+) means that they live the
Core Value “most of the time.” No one is perfect. •A Plus/Minus (+/–) means
that “sometimes they do and sometimes they don’t” live the Core Value—they’re
hot and cold. •A Minus (–) means that
“most of the time” they do not live that Core Value.
To create a useful assessment, you must
be completely honest with yourself when evaluating your people. Trust your gut.
In this process, you’re creating awareness and exposing issues. After you
evaluate everyone using The People Analyzer, you’ll have a clear picture of who
is living the Core Values,

Tips:
~ Using your plan~
Triage Your Calendar - triage
means you must know which things you can safely cancel or reschedule, and which
ones demand your participation. - Protect the basics, Eliminate the
nonessentials, reschedule some of what remains.
Schedule Your Priorities
- Your Ideal Week—the week you would live if you could control 100 percent of
what happens—
Your Annual Time Block -
this tool enables you to “put the big rocks” into your calendar first, so the
important is not overwhelmed by the urgent.
Learn to Say No with
Grace - Most of us hate disappointing others, but at some point, you realize
that you can’t say yes to everything. Accommodation: We say yes when we want to
say no. Attack: We say no poorly. This is a result of valuing our own interests
above the importance of the relationship. Avoidance: We say nothing at all.
Because we are afraid of offending the other party, we avoid the situation,
hoping the problem will go away. It rarely does. Using a positive no - a
positive No begins with a Yes and ends with a Yes.”

Prioritizing Tasks
Many of us lack the skill to prioritize. But today,
more than ever, we need to learn this art to increase productivity and output. I
believe that the biggest reason why people fail at prioritizing tasks is that
they lack daily planning. Something as simple as having a to-do list (link
below) in order of priority can help you boost your daily output and
effectiveness.
But it gets better…By learning to prioritize
(link below), you’ll let go of a lot of useless tasks that wouldn’t make it to
the priority list.
And despite that, you’ll realize at the end of the
day that you accomplished more results with lesser effort.
Here’s the ultimate guide to help you prioritize better: How
to Master the Art of Prioritization (link below).

Notable quotes: They are
italicized above.
What do you know about
the Abrahamic Covenant? Why do we need to know about it? What good does it
bring us?
Abrahamic Covenant. This unconditional
covenant, first made to Abraham in Genesis
12:1-3, promised God's blessing upon Abraham, to make
his name great and to make his progeny into a great nation. The covenant also
promised blessing to those who blessed Abraham and cursing to those who cursed
him. Further, God vowed to bless the entire world through Abraham's seed.
Circumcision was the sign that Abraham believed the covenant (Romans 4:11). The fulfillment of this covenant is
seen in the history of Abraham's descendants and in the creation of the nation
of Israel. The worldwide blessing came through Jesus Christ, who was of
Abraham's family line.
Something I want you to know:
Educate
yourself on GWC and people analyzer, use a plan, and prioritize your tasks.
