Personal Tips:

~ Faith, Living Forward and a life plan~

I find it nearly imperative to rely daily in trusting God for our needs. I know I am not in control and that the vision, direction, and steps that happen in the moment are to give Him the glory what we do and say. The Living Forward book that outlines creating a life plan is a big step for anyone.

IT IS SUCH A BIG STEP…….upon reading the book and preparing for your “life plan day” – I am giving you a paid day off (to our employees) to give us a report on how it happened, a few details of what you learned, and life accounts that you have discovered.

Life Skills:

What if you could develop these tools this year?

·        Critical thinking and creative thinking

·        Problem-solving and decision-making

·        Interpersonal skills and communication

·        Assertiveness, equanimity and self-control

·        Self-awareness and empathy

·        Resilience and coping with emotions and stress

Speed Reading – Reading more

Almost every reader has the habit of subvocalization, which essentially means that he says the words in his head while he reads them. This habit is known to significantly increase reading time.

Speed reading helps eliminate this tendency by allowing readers to skim through the text and comprehend it at faster reading speeds. According to an article on Forbes, an average adult reads at a speed of about 300 words per minute while speed readers clock in at 1500 words per minute.[1]

Imagine all the time you could save while reading the paper, researching for reports, skimming through emails, and reading books.

Personally, I’m up at around 500 wpm right now. If you want to learn more about reading faster, you can also read this fantastic article on how to speed read: https://www.lifehack.org/articles/productivity/10-ways-increase-your-reading-speed.html

Notable quotes: They are italicized above.

What do you know about the Adamic Covenant? Why do we need to know about it? What good does it bring us?

Adamic Covenant. Found in Genesis 1:26-30 and 2:16-17, this covenant is general in nature. It included the command not to eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, pronounced a curse for sin, and spoke of a future provision for man's redemption (Genesis 3:15).

Something I want you to know:

Happy New Year. It was a record year in 2020.

Begin to invest and understand EOS, invest in a life plan, and learn to speed read.

Business Tips : TRACTION (EOS – Entrepreneurial Operating System) Our management is implementing a new system called “Traction”. It will provide direction over the next year through a wonderful system. We look forward to sharing it with you here. We hope you will take the journey with us. ~Telling the Story~ Some time ago, a friend of mine and his wife visited a major Maui tourist attraction called The Road to Hana. It comprised a long and winding road that, over the course of hours, took them through breathtaking scenery, waterfalls, cliffs, mountains, and beaches. At the end, there was nothing but the small town of Hana, with one gas station. When they finally arrived, my friend’s wife was very upset. She said, “We drove all of this way for this?” She missed the point. The Road to Hana is about the journey, not the destination. Don’t make the same mistake with The EOS Process. The journey of building a great business is not about the destination at all. Of course, you...

Business Tips : TRACTION (EOS – Entrepreneurial Operating System) Our management is implementing a new system called “Traction”. It will provide direction over the next year through a wonderful system. We look forward to sharing it with you here. We hope you will take the journey with us. ~Traction~ The vision is clear, the right people are in the right seats, data is managed, you’re solving issues, you have defined your way of doing business and everyone is following it. Creating accountability, discipline and execution is where most weakness reveals itself. Traction is the ability to take a visionaries head out of the clouds and place it into clear action. Many are held back for the fear of creating discomfort, but with each hard step towards systematic success, things become straightforward even with contingencies and the tremendous peace of traction. From no accountability, poor communication, stagnation, chaos you will find just the opposite with traction. Accountability...
