Business Tips:
TWELVE CODES FOR SUCCESS
I have used these many times in my life. I am not the best at them, but it is encouraging to see progress in them for my life with the specific intent of their implementation.
1. Learn to feed you sub-conscious along with your conscious mind.
2. Decide that character is more important than reputation.
3. Learn that attitude determines your altitude.
4. Learn that failure to plan is a plan for failure.
5. Learn that talent is a gift, but work ethic is a choice.
6. Learn to keep score of the results in the game of life.
7. Develop the art of leading people.
8. Learn that individuals grow, but teams explode.
9. Learn the secrets of emotional intelligence.
10. Develop the art and skills of conflict resolution.
11. Learn to confront the brutal reality.
12. Create a legacy, when you are blessed, be a blessing.

Personal Tips:
GIFT OF DREAMS
“A person who can live their entire life with a burning passion for their dream to the extent that they share it on their deathbed—that is a fortunate person...
Your dreams for your life must be yours. They cannot belong to someone else, and they must continue to grow and expand.”

Dreamers have their own dream which allows them to dream of helping others fulfill their dreams.
Faith is all that dreamers need to see into the future.

Frankly, many have just stopped dreaming. Why? You might ask. Look to yourself first….do I have a dream? If you don’t, it could be due to lack of commitment, information, funding, and/or thinking. It can be a combination of all of them or possibly something else. I am here to tell you that all of those things can be worked through on your way toward your dreams. We really have no excuse to give up. Dreams are intoxicating. Once you have reached one or two you begin to realize what it takes, and you will find it takes some of the same ideas and thinking to do it again.

I want to challenge you. In your life to have a lifelong dream, its one that it will be unlikely for you to achieve, but if you go to work on it……the effort and ripple effect will pass on for generations and most likely live on without you. Dream big, dream long term, and dream the impossible…….you might be surprised when you work toward their reality.

Life Skills:
Faith, Family, Fitness, Finances, Friends, Fun, Following, Freedom; we call these the 8F’s in life.
Many of these categories can tell one where their priorities are in life by measuring the time one would spend in one of the above categories. I know we don’t have it all figured out, but we have a lot of great sources that speak into these items and we welcome your comments. Please feel free to drop us a line concerning any of them.
The Five Core Needs of Life- The THIRD need is for BELONGING—Who wants me?
Healthy belonging is possible when it is found in:
  • trustworthy people,
  • interests, talents, and strengths, and
  • differences (especially for high schoolers and adults).

When I'm connected with sound people of good character, I'll know even more about myself as they affirm me and help me grow by lovingly making me aware of my blind spots. In this way, belonging influences identity. Doing the same for them will help me believe I have purpose as I come to understand the benefits of community and serving others.
What does this mean?
For me and many others, because of my faith in Jesus Christ, I belong to God. He wants me because of who He is, not because of what I do.

First is securityWho can I trust?; Second, identityWho am I? ; The third, belongingWho wants me? ; The fourth is for purposeWhy am I alive? ; and the fifth, competenceWhat do I do well?

Notable quotes: They are italicized above.
Something I want you to know:
You’re created on purpose. We belong to the creator, but we have been fearfully and wonderfully made. There is only one of you. We see you, we’re glad you are here.

Business Tips : TRACTION (EOS – Entrepreneurial Operating System) Our management is implementing a new system called “Traction”. It will provide direction over the next year through a wonderful system. We look forward to sharing it with you here. We hope you will take the journey with us. ~Telling the Story~ Some time ago, a friend of mine and his wife visited a major Maui tourist attraction called The Road to Hana. It comprised a long and winding road that, over the course of hours, took them through breathtaking scenery, waterfalls, cliffs, mountains, and beaches. At the end, there was nothing but the small town of Hana, with one gas station. When they finally arrived, my friend’s wife was very upset. She said, “We drove all of this way for this?” She missed the point. The Road to Hana is about the journey, not the destination. Don’t make the same mistake with The EOS Process. The journey of building a great business is not about the destination at all. Of course, you...

Business Tips : TRACTION (EOS – Entrepreneurial Operating System) Our management is implementing a new system called “Traction”. It will provide direction over the next year through a wonderful system. We look forward to sharing it with you here. We hope you will take the journey with us. ~Traction~ The vision is clear, the right people are in the right seats, data is managed, you’re solving issues, you have defined your way of doing business and everyone is following it. Creating accountability, discipline and execution is where most weakness reveals itself. Traction is the ability to take a visionaries head out of the clouds and place it into clear action. Many are held back for the fear of creating discomfort, but with each hard step towards systematic success, things become straightforward even with contingencies and the tremendous peace of traction. From no accountability, poor communication, stagnation, chaos you will find just the opposite with traction. Accountability...
