Business Tips:
·         SAFETY: Leaders find ways to make their job safer and look out for your fellow workers. We continually do not want folks to get hurt in what we do. We also want to do things efficiently and correctly.
·         IMPROVING: Find ways to make yourself better and make sure to let your foreman and manager know what improvements you are trying to make. Let them know where you would like to be and when. Set up a plan for progression and promotion.
Personal Tips:
·         INTAKE: Watch your intake. We all could stand to be healthier. Recently a friend of mine attended a nutritionist to receive tests that told deficiencies and abundances in diet. Since 80% of our health has to do with our diet. I guess we really are what we eat.
·         PARENTING: A good parenting book we are reading right now: Shepherding Your Childs Heart by Tripp
·         FINANCES: A good finance book we constantly recommend is: Financial Fitness by Woodward/Brady
Let us know if you need copies of these and we will make sure to find a way for you to get them.

Life Skills:
Faith, Family, Fitness, Finances, Friends, Fun, Following, Freedom; we call these the 8F’s in life. Many of these categories can tell one where their priorities are in life by measuring the time one would spend in one of the above categories. This month, let’s talk about Faith. I’ve always been told to know why you believe what you believe. I would recommend for you to do the same. You don’t have to follow my lead, but I would ask you to determine for yourself the following questions:
·         Why am I here on this earth?
·         What does moral law mean to me?
·         Is there good and evil and how do I know the difference?
·         What happens to when one dies?
·         Why do bad things happen to “good” people?
These are some of the questions that I wanted answered for myself. I pray you will find the answers in your study and with your family. Feel free to pull me aside or give me a call anytime. I already love you as brothers and sisters on this journey in life. I appreciate your opinions.

Notable quotes:
“Life is the art of drawing without an eraser.” – John Christian
“People forget what you kept, but they will never forget what you gave.”
“The only substitute for good manners is fast reflexes.”
“If you fill your head with positive thought there won’t be any room left for negative ones.”
“What we have and what we are given are not as important as what we contribute and what we leave behind.”
“Don’t mistake thinking for action & don’t mistake action for results.”

What do they mean in your own words? Go…….

Business Tips : TRACTION (EOS – Entrepreneurial Operating System) Our management is implementing a new system called “Traction”. It will provide direction over the next year through a wonderful system. We look forward to sharing it with you here. We hope you will take the journey with us. ~Telling the Story~ Some time ago, a friend of mine and his wife visited a major Maui tourist attraction called The Road to Hana. It comprised a long and winding road that, over the course of hours, took them through breathtaking scenery, waterfalls, cliffs, mountains, and beaches. At the end, there was nothing but the small town of Hana, with one gas station. When they finally arrived, my friend’s wife was very upset. She said, “We drove all of this way for this?” She missed the point. The Road to Hana is about the journey, not the destination. Don’t make the same mistake with The EOS Process. The journey of building a great business is not about the destination at all. Of course, you...

Business Tips : TRACTION (EOS – Entrepreneurial Operating System) Our management is implementing a new system called “Traction”. It will provide direction over the next year through a wonderful system. We look forward to sharing it with you here. We hope you will take the journey with us. ~Traction~ The vision is clear, the right people are in the right seats, data is managed, you’re solving issues, you have defined your way of doing business and everyone is following it. Creating accountability, discipline and execution is where most weakness reveals itself. Traction is the ability to take a visionaries head out of the clouds and place it into clear action. Many are held back for the fear of creating discomfort, but with each hard step towards systematic success, things become straightforward even with contingencies and the tremendous peace of traction. From no accountability, poor communication, stagnation, chaos you will find just the opposite with traction. Accountability...
