Business Tips:
·
Year-end goals - Get a piece of paper and write down the top 5
things you would like to see done or happen in your family’s life for 2018. Involve
the spouse, significant other, and kids. Make it fun. Set some fun rewards if
you hit a midterm goal. Then do it for the next 5 years. Review them monthly
and then annually.
·
Game planning
and action steps – Take those top
5 things and think of how you can accomplish them. If you don’t know how, find
someone who has and let them help. Then put an action plan together that will
move you forward daily, weekly, and monthly. You won’t always accomplish your
game plan, but that is what a dream manager is for. To help you with the ideas
and thought processes to hold you accountable and move you forward. Make 2018
your best year ever.
Personal Tips:
·
Annual and
paper calendar – I fought
this one for years. However, it is a must until you get control of your time.
Your time is your biggest asset in your life. It is also the most fleeting.
Time just keeps passing us by and ever more quicker the older we get. I now use
an electronic calendar with alarm notifications. However, when you are working
on a goal it is necessary to be able to see the scheduled game plan on your
calendar in a prominent place. We have a full year calendar that covers the
wall at home. Tara and I use it as a date to plan each month. You must make it
fun and memorable. It’s always fun to see what God is doing through our
commitment.
·
Cashflow and
money- This is always an interesting
subject. If you haven’t already heard, we have shown some folks how to get out
of debt including their mortgage in 9 years or less by using inefficient
dollars in life. If you would also like to be keyed into that information just
let us know. What better way to start the year than to be on a new financial
game plan to get the biggest rate of return available to you.
Life Skills:
Faith, Family, Fitness,
Finances, Friends, Fun, Following, Freedom; we call these the 8F’s in life.
Many of these categories can tell one where their priorities are in life by
measuring the time one would spend in one of the above categories.
FAMILY
We are just coming out of the
Christmas season. Hopefully you got to share time with those you love, shared
joy by remembering those you have lost, and being present for those fleeting
moments that you will never get back.

Something I want you to know:
As a
company, we look forward to some big plans in 2018. We hope you have enjoyed
the Christmas season and look forward to the new year. I hope you take this
newsletter seriously. This time of year, is that time that my wife and I always
sit down with our goals and game plans. We let God speak to us through prayer
and His constant leading that we experience. As a family, we dream big, because
we know that God can do it. We owe everything we have to God and we love to see
what others may think impossible become possible through Him.
