Business Tips:
EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE
When emotional intelligence first appeared as a buzz phrase in 1995, it made us aware of the missing link in a peculiar finding: people with average IQs outperform those with the highest IQs 70% of the time. This obviously shook up the psychologist’s balance of what “SMART” means.
The capacity to be aware of, control and express one's emotions and to handle interpersonal relationships judiciously and empathetically is one definition.
Another…. “Emotional intelligence is your ability to recognize and understand emotions in yourself and others, and your ability to use this awareness to manage your behavior and relationships.”
It’s made up of 4 skills:
·         Self-Awareness is your ability to accurately perceive your emotions and stay aware of them as they happen.
·         Self-Management is your ability to use awareness of your emotions to stay flexible and positively direct your behavior
·         Social-Awareness is your ability to accurately pick up on emotions in other people and understand what is really going on.
·         Relationship Management is your ability to use awareness of your emotions and the others’ emotions to manage interactions successfully.
As you can see from the grid below they are both personal and social and have components of what you see and do in both yourself and others.

Personal Tips:
GIFT OF MONEY
“There is absolutely nothing that can replace money in the things that money does, but regarding the rest of the things in the world, money is absolutely useless. For example, all the money in the world won’t buy you one more day of life.” ― Jim Stovall
Money is nothing more than a tool. It can be a force for good, a force for evil, or simply be idle.
“Any discussion of money and success would be lacking if I did not state that money is neither good nor bad. In the hands of good people, money can build places of healing, worship, and learning. In the hands of bad people, money can create destruction, disease, and death.” ― Jim Stovall

We are to be stewards of money. The Bible says, “to whom much is given, much is required. – Luke 12:48. We are held responsible for what we have, not just money. It includes time, knowledge, talents, wealth, etc.

Check it out: Matthew 25:14-30. I personally have experienced the parable of three servants.

Many of these categories can tell one where their priorities are in life are by measuring the time one would spend in one of the above categories. I know we don’t have it all figured out, but we have a lot of great sources that speak into these items and we welcome your comments. Please feel free to drop us a line concerning any of them.
This year Google says the top issues that face the world are…. SURVEY SAYS….
Relational Issues; Money; Health issues; Anxiety over finding or losing loved ones; Religious questions; Concerns about death
RELIGIOUS QUESTIONS
Centuries of struggle over the questions in life result in what people may call “religious questions.” Many of us have asked those hard questions in life. A worldview is what we use as the lens in which we both live and approach the world. When we wake up in the morning we operate on a certain set of priorities and habits. Those are lived out in actions coming from thoughts and those thoughts most likely have been determined by circumstance, living life experience, or relationships. I would like to invite you to a method to judge your world view options.
We seek truth, but where? It would make sense that truth ideas should cohere or remain consistent with each other. It would also make sense that a truth idea should correspond with life or in other words make sense of what we observe in reality. That being said, what we believe should be able to have logical consistency (ideas shouldn’t self contradict themselves), empirical adequacy (ideas should match what we see in real life), and experiential relevance (ideas should speak directly to how we actually live our lives).
Based on this, how do we answer these questions? Where do the universe and human beings come from?  What is the meaning or purpose of life? How do we know what is right and what is wrong? What happens to us after we die? These are the hard questions that form world views. There are answers to be had.

Notable quotes: They are italicized above.
Something I want you to know:
May is the month to celebrate your mother or the memory of!
Also, Memorial Day honors those who died while serving our country

It comprised a long and winding road that, over the course of hours, took them through breathtaking scenery, waterfalls, cliffs, mountains, and beaches. At the end, there was nothing but the small town of Hana, with one gas station. When they finally arrived, my friend’s wife was very upset. She said, “We drove all of this way for this?” She missed the point. The Road to Hana is about the journey, not the destination. Don’t make the same mistake with The EOS Process. The journey of building a great business is not about the destination at all. Of course, you...
