Business Tips:
·
Surround yourself with Progress: Your results in business are a direct result of
those that you associate with. Your office, vehicle, and home should display
your journey toward the best so that you have the mark to improve upon. Take a
picture of your worst sale, building, concrete, task and then take a
picture/outline of your best. Your progress will motivate you to continually
get better and build your confidence and give you ideas on how to make things
better. Our work is never done in the improvement cycle.
·
Super organized: Reduce things by throwing stuff away before
organizing; always write things down and keep these things in the same place,
have a place for everything, put it away now, clean up as you go – don’t leave
it for another time or someone else, develop a routine and system for doing
things
Personal Tips:
·
Set goals so you actually accomplish them: Many people ignore this, but it’s really the only
effective way to get “big” things in life done. This means the goal should be
written down and placed in a prominent place with a deadline. The goal should just be on the other side of
attainable. Not impossible, but a stretch from what you think you can currently
accomplish.
·
Have a game plan: A game plan is a map to your goal. You actually write
down directions of what actions you will perform to hit your goal according to
a step by step process. What if I don’t know how? THIS IS WHY WE HAVE HIRED A
DREAM MANAGER. Mr. Sanders or myself can help you walk through your game plan
to accomplish nearly anything within reason and circumstance.
·
Check and adjust your game plan: A mentor or
manager is there to help you adjust and course correct your game plan to reset
your path to your goal. A checkup is recommended weekly or monthly, but you
should track your progress daily. If you don’t seek help to accomplish your
goal then that is your fault. It will be hard for you to accomplish your goals
yourself otherwise you would have already accomplished them. So, ask for help
to move forward in life. You should consider having both short term and
long-term goals.
·
Reward yourself and practice delayed gratification You should have yourself a “carrot” of sorts so that
you will continue to work your game plan to accomplish your goal. The reward
needs to push you toward making sure you complete your task.
EXAMPLE:
Josh set a goal for a certain amount of personal sales. Josh set that number
goal for May. He wrote down a detailed action plan that he used to get to that
number. He accomplished that plan and now he gets the reward – a 76” sailfish.

Life Skills:
Faith, Family, Fitness,
Finances, Friends, Fun, Following, Freedom; we call these the 8F’s in life.
Many of these categories can tell one where their priorities are in life by
measuring the time one would spend in one of the above categories.
FRIENDS: This is an interesting subject. For those
that are chasing goals and dreams it’s hard to find similar folks to hang
around. However, you probably have friends that don’t do this. If you average
your 5 friend’s incomes you will most likely find that yours falls into that
average. You should always question who you hang around as they will either
hold you back or propel you forward. Real friends are those that would drop
what they are doing and come to help you out in a pinch. Real friends don’t
talk behind your back or gossip about others. Real friends are loyal and would
be willing to give up a personal agenda for your benefit. Are you a good
friend?
